The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, represented by the Women’s Police Team, in collaboration with the Ras Al Khaimah Women’s Renaissance Association, held a special event at the Police Punitive and Correctional Establishment to celebrate International Women’s Day, with the active participation of the establishment’s female inmates.

The celebration was attended by Her Excellency Sheikha Mohammed Al Faqaei Al Ali, Director General of the Women’s Renaissance Association; Major Amal Hassan Ali Al Obad, Director of the Rehabilitation and Training Branch and Head of the Women’s Police Team; and Ms. Alia Ali Salem from the Office of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Community Empowerment.

The event featured a variety of cultural and entertainment activities, including competitions for inmates, a henna art workshop, and fitness exercises aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being.

Major Amal Al Obaid honored the program’s organizers, recognizing their efforts in making the event a success and reinforcing the Ras Al Khaimah Police's commitment to supporting and empowering women across all segments of society.

In her remarks, Major Al Obaid emphasized that women are a source of pride and a key pillar in societal development, working alongside men to build families and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s sustainable growth. She praised the unique journey of women's empowerment in the UAE, highlighting their essential role in advancing the country’s vision and goals.
