Ras Al Khaimah Police has unveiled the latest Executive Council decision about vehicle seizure cases, following directives from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah. Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, disclosed the particulars of the Executive Council's decision, which encompasses the issuance of executive regulations in accordance with Law No. (10) concerning the seizure, placing, and disposing of vehicles. These regulations align with Federal Law No. (21) of 1995 on traffic and its subsequent amendments, operating within the strategic framework set forth by the Ministry of Interior. The implementation of these regulations aims to enhance road safety through the utilization of modern traffic systems. Effective March 1, the new decision will address various traffic violations committed by drivers or vehicle owners within Ras Al Khaimah, imposing stricter penalties on offenders to ensure safer transportation. This initiative underscores the Ministry of Interior's commitment to fostering secure roadways in alignment with its overarching strategy.
