As part of its ongoing efforts to inspire future student leaders to explore space science and advanced technology, the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, through its Police Friends Program, organized a scientific visit to the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center (MBRSC). The delegation was led by Major Saif Rashid Yahmour, Manager of the Sports Facilities Branch and Director of the Police Friends Program. The visit aimed to familiarize students with STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) research fields, enhancing their scientific and technological abilities, and encouraging them toward scientific curiosity and innovation. Major Yahmour emphasized that the Ras Al Khaimah Police, through its 2025 summer program, is committed to educating, training, and preparing participants by providing them with opportunities to explore various scientific and research domains. The initiative seeks to instill an appreciation for modern science and technology, inspiring youth to pursue progress and innovation for a better future. These scientific and cultural visits are designed to broaden students’ intellectual perspectives and scientific knowledge, helping them envision their roles in national scientific advancement and boosting the UAE’s competitiveness and global ranking. He further noted that the Police Friends Program prioritizes nurturing students' creativity and scientific research abilities by exposing them to space science and the programs offered by MBRSC. The Center provides a variety of educational and engaging activities tailored to younger audiences.
