In a celebration honoring the International Day of Inmates, which is observed annually on July 18th, the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, through the Punitive and Correctional Establishment Department, hosted an array of recreational activities for the families of inmates at the penal and correctional institution.
The event witnessed the esteemed presence of His Excellency Brigadier Jassim Muhammad Al-Bakr, representing the Directorate General of Resources and Support Services, alongside Lieutenant Colonel Ali Saeed Embassy, Deputy Director of the Penal and Correctional Establishment Department. Notable attendees included representatives from the Red Crescent Authority, members of the women's police team in Ras Al Khaimah, and Dr. Mahra Himyar Al Malik, a therapist from the Emirates Health Services Corporation, who also serves as a board member of the Emirates Society for Social Development. Numerous officers and employees from the penal and correctional institution also graced the event.
The celebration aimed to provide an opportunity for inmates' families to engage in enjoyable activities, fostering a sense of community and support during their loved ones' confinement. This event underscores the Ras Al Khaimah Police's commitment to promoting social development and highlighting the importance of rehabilitation and support for inmates and their families.
