The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command announced that its operations room received 129,191 emergency calls from the public across the emirate during the third quarter of this year through the dedicated emergency hotline 999. Colonel Staff Dr. Abdullah bin Salman Al Nuaimi, Director of the Operations Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, stated that this figure reflects the emirate’s continuous growth across various sectors and represents an 11.6% increase compared to the same period in 2024. He confirmed that the response rate to all calls reached 100%, underscoring Ras Al Khaimah Police’s commitment to promptly handling every report and transferring it to the relevant authorities as required. Colonel Staff Dr. Al Nuaimi explained that the operations room is equipped with advanced communication systems and modern technologies, enabling the rapid reception and processing of calls by highly trained police teams. These capabilities ensure the delivery of swift, efficient, and high-quality services to the public. In line with the Ministry of Interior’s directives and strategic objectives to enhance security and safety, ensure readiness to respond to incidents, and improve customer satisfaction, Ras Al Khaimah Police have also designated the number 901 to receive public inquiries and suggestions. This initiative reflects the police’s ongoing efforts to strengthen communication with the community and address public needs, contributing to the continued development of policing in Ras Al Khaimah.
