The Media and Public Relations Department at the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command has issued the September edition, No. 347, of Al Ain Al Sahira magazine, featuring a wide selection of news, investigations, articles, and specialized police and security reports. The cover story of this issue is titled “Electronic and Cyber Attacks: A Direct Threat to Information Security and Digital Transformation Efforts.” The investigation addresses the major risks faced by individuals and organizations due to such attacks in the digital era, which lead to substantial financial and security losses. It stresses the importance of combating these threats by developing protection systems, updating software, and adopting effective response plans. The feature also underscores the role of raising community awareness and providing continuous training for workers in vital sectors to strengthen cybersecurity culture. In the Security Vision section, His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, contributed an article titled “Data Analysis” in which he discussed the role of smart predictions using modern technological applications in identifying and countering criminal behavior amidst the evolving nature of crime. His Excellency emphasized that data analysis has become a crucial tool in today’s technology-driven world, as its outcomes contribute to enhancing overall performance and improving quality of life. The magazine’s editorial focused on student safety, which remains a top priority for the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command. It highlighted the efforts to harness both human expertise and financial resources to achieve this goal through lectures, awareness campaigns, and programs aimed at ensuring the highest standards of safety for students, an effort that requires the cooperation of parents, drivers, and all road users. Alongside various police news, the September issue featured an interview with Major Ibrahim Al Mazrouei, who raised the UAE flag and the Ras Al Khaimah Police logo at the top of Mount Elbrus. The magazine also included coverage of the Acting Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police’s fieldwork on the first day of school, in addition to a report on a field visit to the medical clinic at the penal institution. In his Insights column, Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Hassan Al Naqbi, the magazine’s editor-in-chief, wrote about the return to school, describing it as the beginning of a renewed journey of learning and building the future.
