Colonel Dhiyab Ali Al Harsh, Director of the Punitive and Correctional Establishment at Ras Al Khaimah Police, accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Hamad Khalid Al Matar, Deputy Director of the Punitive and Correctional Establishment, attended the graduation ceremony of the “Digital Product Design” course. The program aims to prepare inmates for the labor market and enhance quality of life, in collaboration with Sheikh Saud Foundation for Public Policy Research, the strategic partner of Ras Al Khaimah Police and the provider of the training course. Many inmates of the Punitive and Correctional Establishment at Ras Al Khaimah, representing various nationalities, participated in the course. They were trained in the best practices and applications in digital product design within the labor market, with a focus on enhancing their knowledge, capabilities, and skills through effective training methods. The program enabled participants to integrate into the workforce upon completing their terms at the Punitive and Correctional Establishment, while also training them to develop innovative solutions and generate constructive ideas to transform them into tangible digital products, such as applications and websites, meeting user needs and fulfilling the objectives of the digital labor market.  The Director of the Punitive and Correctional Establishment at Ras Al Khaimah Police emphasized that conducting such courses aligns with the Ministry of Interior’s efforts to qualify inmates, enabling them to perform effectively in the workforce upon completing their terms at the Establishment. He encouraged the inmates to apply the knowledge and skills gained during the course to enhance their abilities and foster their intellectual creativity, thereby supporting their future professional development.
