Ras Al Khaimah Police Advances Government Vision with Bureaucracy Zero Accelerators Council

The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command recently launched the Bureaucracy Zero Accelerators Council under the theme "Transformation towards easier, faster, and more efficient police services."

During the opening session, Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, emphasized that the "Bureaucracy Zero Accelerators" initiative is part of the police's ongoing efforts to enhance institutional performance through the use of smart technologies. These technologies aim to streamline services and eliminate bureaucratic hurdles, supporting the UAE's vision of improving quality of life.

Major General Al Nuaimi highlighted the Council's role as a platform for reducing administrative routines that can delay service delivery. By adopting such innovative measures, Ras Al Khaimah Police aims to ensure that services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

The event, attended by senior officials including the Directors General, heads of government departments, and representatives from local and federal agencies, facilitated discussions on simplifying procedures and improving customer service in line with government directives. Attendees included senior officers, members of the public, and students from local universities and schools, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in shaping police services.

His Excellency Salem Balyouha, Director of the Government Services Evaluation Department at the Prime Minister's Office, praised the initiative, noting that community participation is essential for improving government procedures. He also commended Ras Al Khaimah Police for their leadership in advancing this critical initiative.

Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Youssef Abdullah Mohammed Al Tunaiji, Head of the Team for Implementing Global Star System Standards at Ras Al Khaimah Police, explained that the session was an open dialogue with customers. The discussions focused on enhancing police services, increasing reliance on technology, and eliminating unnecessary procedures to reduce the number of customer visits and streamline service delivery.

The session covered five key areas, including customer satisfaction, raising service efficiency, reducing administrative steps, and enhancing the overall service experience. Seven innovative ideas were developed to remove redundant procedures, while three proposals were made to integrate technical systems across departments and enhance digital services.

Police services were reviewed and adapted to better meet customer needs and preferences. Several services were redesigned based on customer feedback, emphasizing proactivity and flexibility to streamline the customer experience and enhance societal well-being. This involved developing interconnected service packages that are delivered seamlessly and proactively, often before a request is made. Seven key ideas were introduced to improve service efficiency, eliminate unnecessary procedures, and minimize customer visits to service centers by integrating systems and simplifying service requirements, saving both time and effort.

The session also highlighted the importance of digital enablers, proposing the design of personalized, proactive services aligned with future lifestyles. Secure data sharing between entities was emphasized to ensure privacy while providing consistent and unified service channels. Three ideas were presented to further integrate technical systems among partners and drive the digital transformation of several services.

Another key focus was the development of professional talent. Six ideas were proposed to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees, ensuring high-quality, efficient service delivery that exceeds customer expectations.

Throughout the session, updates were made to the service system and strategies to align with government objectives and the Ras Al Khaimah Police’s commitment to service excellence. These updates aim to build trust between the police and the community while improving the overall quality of life. The shift from a traditional service delivery strategy to a service excellence model was formally approved.

At the close of the event, participants expressed their appreciation for the initiative, recognizing it as a reflection of Ras Al Khaimah Police’s dedication to providing top services with a strong focus on transparency and community partnership, further advancing efforts to eliminate bureaucratic hurdles.
