His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Head of the Local Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Team in Ras Al Khaimah and Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, led a meeting with team members to enhance response speed, increase readiness, and ensure preparedness for the rainy and winter season. The meeting included the presence of team members and representatives from local institutions and departments in Ras Al Khaimah.

At the meeting’s opening, His Excellency Major General bin Alwan welcomed the attendees, commending the team’s efforts in supporting the emirate’s community, particularly during the rainy season, valley flows, and torrents. He emphasized the importance of raising awareness on handling heavy rains and potential floods, which can occur unexpectedly, and stressed the need for training and exercises on various rain and flood emergencies. This aligns with the Ministry of Interior’s strategy to strengthen security and protect lives and property.
Concluding the meeting, His Excellency Major General Ali bin Alwan praised the constructive cooperation among Ras Al Khaimah’s authorities and institutions. He highlighted the activation of joint plans and programs supporting national frameworks for managing flood, rain, and other emergencies, expressing his wish for continued teamwork to enhance quality of life and security in the emirate.
