Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, the Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, presided over the closing ceremony of the 2023 annual shooting training program. Held at the Al-Sawan Shooting Field in Ras Al Khaimah, the event was attended by His Excellency Brigadier Jamal Ahmed Al Tair, Deputy Commander-in-Chief, along with general directors, department directors, and senior officers.
The ceremony commenced with a demonstration highlighting the tasks and capabilities of the K9 police dog unit, showcasing their adept handling of incidents with professionalism. Additionally, the police music band presented traditional Emirati songs, echoing the rich cultural heritage of the UAE.
Addressing the gathering, the Commander-in-Chief emphasized the significance of celebrating the annual shooting championships and similar training programs. He underscored their pivotal role in identifying exceptional talents within the force, contributing to developing competencies and enhancing operational skills crucial for executing high-quality missions.
Highlighting the importance of continuous training in enhancing efficiency and skill sets, the Commander-in-Chief emphasized the foundational role of employees in police and security operations, stressing the need for constant attention to elevate their capabilities, combat readiness, and proficiency in weapon use.
Colonel Fahd Al Haddad, Director of the Ras Al Khaimah Police Training Center, elucidated the objectives of the annual training program. Its primary aim is to refine the skills of police personnel, ensuring an elevated level of performance in handling dynamic security scenarios, combating evolving crime, and safeguarding the state from various criminal activities.
Throughout the year, the Training Center successfully conducted 42 specialized training courses and workshops, benefiting 1,707 command members. During the ceremony, the Commander-in-Chief honored the top three winners of the competitions, acknowledging their excellence. Additionally, Colonel Dr. Nasser Muhammad Al-Bakr, Director of the Community Police Department, received recognition for his outstanding contributions to the Training Center, wishing him success in his future endeavors.
