The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police, through the Department of the Punitive and Correctional Institution, actively participated in the events of Unified Gulf Inmate Week 2023. The week-long initiative, launched by the Ministry of Interior and themed " Opening Gates to Opportunity and Hope," witnessed a series of celebrations aimed at renewing hope and fostering positive changes among inmates.

Colonel Abdullah Mohammed Al Haimer, Director of the Punitive and Correctional Institution at Ras Al Khaimah Police, presided over the events, which included the presence of police officers, inmates, and their families. Throughout Gulf Inmate Week 2023, a variety of recreational and rehabilitative programs were organized for inmates, emphasizing positive behavioral changes and showcasing the endeavors made to enhance the well-being of inmates, contributing to a secure and quality life within correctional facilities.
