Brigadier Mohammed Obaid Al Khatri, Director General of Resources and Support Services, officially inaugurated the Ras Al Khaimah Police Ramadan Volleyball Championship, alongside Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Head of the Sports Activities Section. The opening ceremony featured exciting matches, with the Civil Defense Department facing off against Central Operations in the first match, followed by a clash between the Resources and Support Services Department and Police Operations, all in front of an enthusiastic audience.
Brigadier Al Khatri praised the police leadership’s commitment to promoting sports among its personnel, recognizing the physical, psychological, and health benefits of athletic activities. He emphasized that fostering a culture of sports strengthens camaraderie and teamwork within the force, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan, which is marked by an atmosphere of unity and goodwill.
Reflecting this commitment, the Ras Al Khaimah Police has organized multiple Ramadan sporting events, providing full financial and logistical support to ensure their success.
