The Community Protection and Prevention Department of the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, represented by its Community Police Section and Social Support Center, participated in an event organized by the Emirates Charity Association for a group of orphaned children.

Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Balhoun, Head of the Community Police Section, stated that the department’s participation reflects its commitment to maintaining an active presence at various events and programs organized by different entities. He noted that this approach aims to strengthen communication and cooperation with the public across all age groups and segments of society.

He explained that the participation included a brief lecture delivered by Major Moza Al Khabouri, Manager of the Community Programs Branch, to the orphaned children and their families. The lecture focused on the Year of the Family and highlighted the role of the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command in strengthening family bonds through participation in such events and community forums. It also introduced attendees to the police services provided by the General Command and its affiliated centers to all segments of society, while emphasizing the commitment to delivering high-quality services to the public.

Lieutenant Colonel Balhoun added that the Children’s Social Support Center also organized an activity entitled “The Tree of Dreams,” during which the children wrote their future aspirations on slips of paper that were then used to create a symbolic tree. The initiative aimed to encourage the children to pursue the paths that will help them achieve their dreams.
