In line with the Ministry of Interior's commitment to empowering women, Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command proudly welcomes its first Emirati female police officer to the K9 Security Inspection Section. Corporal Maryam Mohammed Al Shehhi, a member of the training branch within the K9 Security Inspection Section, underwent rigorous training to handle and train police dogs. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, she honed her skills in taming, managing, and controlling police canines, elevating her proficiency and capabilities in this specialized field.

Maryam's expertise extends to training police dogs for tasks such as tracking, rescue operations, and providing crucial forensic evidence required by the K9 Security Inspection and criminal work at Ras Al Khaimah Police. Her contribution is expected to yield significant positive results in security inspections.

Ras Al Khaimah Police fosters an inclusive and proactive environment for empowering female personnel across various police and security domains. By breaking down gender barriers and allowing women to undertake roles traditionally held by men, the section has achieved notable milestones and enhanced the effectiveness of its policing system.
