In line with the Ministry of Interior’s vision to make the UAE one of the safest countries in the world, through efficient and proactive efforts to enhance quality of life and provide innovative services that protect lives, honor, and property, the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, represented by the Community Protection and Prevention Department, organized a community coexistence initiative forum under the slogan “Together Our Community is Safe.” The forum, held with 120 employees of Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar), was attended by Colonel Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Zaabi, Director of the Department, along with several officers, personnel, and representatives from the factory. Colonel Al Zaabi explained that the initiative aims to promote respect for the law among Julphar factory employees, foster a culture of coexistence and social peace among the various communities, and build effective channels of dialogue between different cultures. It also seeks to raise awareness of local laws and rights related to social integration and instill religious and humanitarian values that call for love, tolerance, respect for others, and constructive cooperation. The meeting featured an awareness lecture delivered by Major Saif Salem Al Khatri from the department’s Community Awareness Branch. The lecture addressed several key topics, including the concept of respecting the law and its practical application, examples of law respect in daily life, and the role of communities in spreading legal awareness. A discussion session followed, giving factory employees the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification. The forum concluded with recommendations to strengthen the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence, emphasize the importance of utilizing police services through official channels, and encourage effective cooperation to protect society and combat negative phenomena. The meeting also highlighted the shared responsibility of all community members in achieving happiness and ensuring a high quality of life for everyone.
