Khalaf Salem bin Anbar, Director General of the Emirates Society for Social Development in Ras Al Khaimah, emphasized that UAE Flag Day beautifully captures the unity and national pride of Emiratis and residents, which demonstrates their loyalty to the homeland and its wise leadership every year on November 3. Speaking as a guest on the Al Ain Al Sahera Program—an initiative organized by the Media and Public Relations Department of Ras Al Khaimah Police in collaboration with the Ras Al Khaimah Government Media Office and the Radio Authority—he highlighted that this cherished national event inspires a deep sense of pride and unity. It is an opportunity for national solidarity, strengthening identity, and instilling love for the homeland in future generations. Bin Anbar praised the collective efforts of institutions and individuals who come together on this day to showcase the national spirit and unity.
The Director General further noted that celebrating Flag Day on November 3 symbolizes the strong bond between the UAE and its leadership, making this day a special occasion that reflects the values and vision of the wise leadership. He affirmed that the Society participates annually in various national celebrations with activities that express love for the UAE, loyalty to its leadership, and a commitment to fostering Emirati culture and cooperation across all segments of society.
Bin Anbar also emphasized that national events reinforce a sense of pride and collaboration between individuals and institutions, while citizens bear a responsibility to promote national identity, excellence, and innovation in support of the leadership’s vision, which seeks to keep the nation’s flag flying high. This year, the Emirates Society for Social Development held 154 official events and 66 sub-events, totaling 507 hours and benefiting 8,448 individuals across various age groups. For the coming year, the Society’s agenda will align with the focus areas emphasized by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, during his recent meeting with Emirati students in South Korea, which include advancements in nanotechnology, space, and artificial intelligence.
