The Air Wing Section of the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command carried out 51 operational flights during the first half of the year, supporting a wide range of policing and emergency operations, including search and rescue missions, assistance to government entities, training sorties, and other specialized tasks.

Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Abdullah Ali Al Shehhi, Head of the Air Wing Section, stated that these missions reflect the section's ongoing commitment to strengthening rapid emergency response capabilities and enhancing community safety and security. He noted that the Air Wing maintains a high level of operational readiness to execute missions with professionalism and efficiency under the supervision of highly qualified pilots and aircrew.

He emphasized that continuous training remains a key priority to ensure swift intervention during emergencies, optimize operational performance, and enhance the department's ability to respond effectively to reports and incidents, thereby improving the quality and efficiency of police services provided to the community.

Lieutenant Colonel Al Shehhi also highlighted the Air Wing's vital role in supporting police and security operations across the emirate. He urged members of the public, particularly those visiting mountainous areas, to exercise caution, carry sufficient drinking water due to the high temperatures and humidity during this period, avoid hazardous and rugged terrain, and strictly follow all safety guidelines and instructions to ensure their well-being.
