Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, represented by the Permanent Women’s Police Team and the Ras Al Khaimah Police Youth Council, in cooperation with Saqr Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah, celebrated the World Heart Day 2025 Health Forum. The event was attended by His Excellency Brigadier Ahmed Al Sam Al Naqbi, Director General of Central Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police, Her Excellency Dr. Mona Al Ayyan, Director of Saqr Hospital, along with a number of police officers and employees. The event was held at the Martyr Tariq Al Shehhi Building at the General Command. The health forum began with an educational workshop on mental health titled “The Heart is the Mirror of the Soul.” A blood donation campaign was also launched, during which employees donated blood. Participants underwent medical examinations to check blood pressure and blood sugar levels, measure body mass index, and received consultations in nutrition and internal medicine. In addition, training sessions were provided on first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to raise awareness of the main symptoms and causes of heart disease, appropriate first aid methods, and how to perform CPR correctly to save lives. This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Interior’s strategy to promote security and safety. His Excellency Brigadier Ahmed Al Naqbi emphasized that the launch of the health forum, coinciding with World Heart Day, reflects Ras Al Khaimah Police’s commitment to raising community awareness about the importance of adopting healthy lifestyles and preventing risk factors that may affect heart health and safety, such as smoking, lack of physical activity, and excessive fat. He stressed the importance of encouraging all police personnel and community members to follow healthy behavioral patterns and ensure early and accurate diagnosis of heart diseases to prevent heart attacks and potential cardiovascular conditions. He concluded by wishing everyone continued health and safety.
