The General Directorate of Central Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police has launched the “Summer Without Accidents 2024” campaign, organized by the Ministry of Interior to enhance traffic security and road safety.  His Excellency Brigadier Ahmed Al-Sam Al-Naqbi, Director General of Central Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police and Head of the Traffic Awareness and Safety Team at the Federal Traffic Council, stated that this annual campaign, launched by the Ministry of Interior with the onset of summer and rising temperatures, reflects the commitment of the Ras Al khaimah Police to improve traffic safety, ensure the security of road users, and minimize traffic accidents. During the campaign's launch at the ENOC registration village, Brigadier Al-Naqbi observed the vehicle inspection process conducted by specialized examiners according to the highest international standards. The inspections focused on the safety of vehicle tires, their suitability for safe driving, and other technical checks essential for vehicle safety amid the season's high temperatures. Brigadier Al-Naqbi also advised car owners at the registration village, emphasizing the importance of regularly checking tire safety, ensuring adequate air pressure, and using high-quality tires capable of withstanding high temperatures. He highlighted the need to continuously monitor the water level in car radiators and follow all vehicle safety guidelines and instructions.
