His Excellency Brigadier Dr. Yousef bin Yaqoub Al Zaabi, Deputy Director General of Central Operations at the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, inaugurated the 2026 Summer Police Friends Program, which will run until the end of the month. The opening ceremony was attended by Colonel Hamad Abdullah Al Awadhi, Director of the Media and Public Relations Department, with the participation of 200 students aged 9 to 16.

Brigadier Al Zaabi stated that the annual program reflects the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command's commitment to nurturing creativity, innovation, and discipline among young people during the summer holiday. The initiative aims to invest in developing students' skills, enhancing their security awareness, and strengthening their sense of national belonging and social responsibility. It also seeks to build well-rounded personalities by developing participants' physical, educational, and military skills under the supervision of qualified officers and experienced trainers.

He noted that the program is open to all eligible students and offers a comprehensive range of activities designed to provide a positive environment that combines discipline, sports, education, and personal development. He encouraged participants to take full advantage of the program's daily activities and learning opportunities.

Following the opening ceremony, students were divided into four groups to participate in a structured schedule of activities. The program includes military training, physical fitness sessions, swimming, football, martial arts, artificial intelligence workshops, educational lectures, awareness programs, field visits, and a variety of other activities designed to enrich participants' knowledge, develop their talents, and prepare them to become active and responsible members of society.
