The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, represented by the Community Protection and Prevention Department, organized a Community Coexistence Initiative Forum in collaboration with the Pakistani Club, under the slogan "Together, Our Society is Safe." The forum saw the participation of club representatives and a large number of members from the Pakistani community.
The forum was chaired by Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Saeed Balhoun, Head of the Community Policing Section, and featured an awareness lecture titled "Law Respect Culture," delivered by Major Salem Al Harsh, Manager of the Community Awareness Branch. Major Saif Salem Al Khatri moderated the forum, which was also attended by Major Moza Rashid Al Khabouri, Manager of the Community Programs Branch, along with several officers and staff members.
Lieutenant Colonel Balhoun provided attendees with a comprehensive overview of the approach adopted by the Community Protection and Prevention Department of Ras Al Khaimah Police. He explained the services offered to the various communities residing across the emirate and how these communities are integrated into the broader security framework of the country.
Major Salem Al Harsh addressed several key topics aimed at reinforcing a culture of prevention and society respect. It included a brief explanation of the UAE’s security laws and procedures, in addition to the customs and traditions that all residents are expected to respect and follow to avoid legal consequences. Attendees were also informed about the official communication channels available for emergencies and inquiries.
Recommendations from the forum emphasized the importance of promoting values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence. It encouraged community members to make full and positive use of police services through official channels and called for ongoing, effective cooperation to protect society. The forum concluded by stressing the collective responsibility of all residents in combating negative behaviors, striving toward societal happiness, and enhancing overall quality of life.
