Ras Al Khaimah Police Issues 6849 Vehicle Ownerships in the first Quarter of this year

The Vehicle and Drivers Licensing Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police issued 6849 new vehicle ownerships between January 1 and the end of March of this year. In the same period, 31081 ownerships were renewed, and 8751 ownership transfers were processed.

Brigadier Ahmed Al-Sam Al-Naqbi, Director General of Central Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police, stated that the first quarter of this year witnessed an active movement in the issuance of new vehicle ownerships in the emirate. This was accompanied by the renewal of 31,081 ownerships, reflecting the commitment of vehicle owners and drivers to comply with regulations, particularly with the deployment of vehicle monitoring systems for expired registrations across Ras Al Khaimah emirate’s roads and key intersections over recent years. During the same period, 8751 ownership transfers were completed.

He added that 3653 new driving licenses of various categories were issued during the first quarter, while 10737 licenses were renewed by the Vehicle and Drivers Licensing Department. Affirming that Ras Al Khaimah Police remains committed to leveraging advanced digital systems and platforms to improve transaction efficiency, promote sustainability, enhance quality of life, and streamline customer journeys by minimizing processing time as much as possible.

His Excellency Brigadier Al Naqbi called on drivers and vehicle owners to commit to renewing their registrations and licenses on time to maintain road safety, reduce accident rates, and avoid violations and their associated legal consequences. He emphasized Ras Al Khaimah Police's continuous efforts to enhance the quality of services provided to the public, in alignment with the Ministry of Interior’s vision of improving customer satisfaction with the services provided.
