Brigadier Jamal Ahmed Al Tair, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, inaugurated the third edition of “The Friends of Ras Al Khaimah Police” program at Zayed Educational Complex "Awafi", in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. The event was attended by several senior police officers, Ms. Hayat Al Shehhi, Director of Zayed Educational Complex "Awafi", and included the participation of 150 students from the society. The program coincides with the summer vacation season and aims to instill positive values and a spirit of discipline in students and the future generation.

His Excellency the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police toured the facilities of “Friends of the Police” program at Zayed Educational Complex – Awafi. His tour included a visit to the taekwondo hall, physical and military training rooms, football field, swimming pool, lecture halls, library, theater, and other athletic and educational areas. He also discussed the program’s plans for student field trips, including an upcoming visit to Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC), aimed at encouraging students to take an interest in space sciences, lunar exploration, and the use of satellites in advancing innovation and scientific development.

Brigadier Jamal Al Tair emphasized that “Friends of the Police” program includes a range of training and preparatory activities in sports, culture, security, and recreation. The aim is to build a generation that is aware and capable of anticipating the future by equipping school students with various skills and experiences that strengthen their capabilities, foster loyalty to the homeland, and promote readiness to defend and protect its security and stability. His Excellency also stressed the importance of utilizing students’ free time to acquire useful knowledge and science, engage in beneficial physical training, and learn police and military culture, enabling them to apply these gains in their daily lives in ways that improve behavior and raise cultural awareness.
