Through one of its officers, Ras Al Khaimah Police accomplished the challenge of reaching Europe’s highest mountain after a demanding five-day journey. Major Ibrahim Saif Al Mazrouei, a member of the General Command, scaled the summit of Russia’s Mount Elbrus in the far reaches of Europe, which rises 5,642 meters above sea level, marking him as the first from the General Command to complete the challenge of climbing one of the world’s Seven Summits, while raising the national flag and police emblem at the top. His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi praised the perseverance, determination, and aspiration of Major Ibrahim Al Mazrouei in climbing the mountain and achieving his goal. Al Mazrouei, in turn, expressed that he was extremely proud and delighted to raise the UAE flag and the emblem of Ras Al Khaimah Police, considering it a modest token of gratitude to the Police General Command for their support in this mission and global challenge. He added that this achievement was fueled by “determination and ambition” to continue his journey in the “Seven Summits Challenge,” extending his thanks to all who supported him in accomplishing this milestone. Al Mazrouei achieved an exceptional accomplishment by climbing the European summit, driven by passion and courage, and supported with the facilitation and moral encouragement provided by Ras Al Khaimah Police, to fulfill his aspiration of conquering the challenge and reaching the mountain’s peak. The challenging and adventurous journey lasted five days, during which he encountered numerous obstacles and hardships, including extreme cold, oxygen deficiency, strong winds, and steep mountainous terrain, before reaching the summit of Mount Elbrus. This challenge, regarded as a remarkable achievement among mountaineers globally, involves scaling the highest peak on each of the seven continents.
