The General Resources Authority of Ras Al Khaimah has officially inaugurated the Al Ghurair Vehicle Inspection Center in the Al Qusaidat area. The opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, His Excellency Jamal Ahmed Al Tair, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Resources Authority, as well as board members, senior police officials, and Oscar Rivoli, CEO of Al Ghurair Automobiles.

His Excellency Jamal Ahmed Al Tair emphasized that the center's opening marks a significant step in advancing service quality in Ras Al Khaimah. Strategically located near the city center, the facility has undergone a comprehensive upgrade, integrating cutting-edge smart systems and modern inspection technologies that align with the highest international standards. This ensures precision and efficiency, reducing inspection times to just six minutes.

The new center reflects the General Resources Authority’s commitment to enhancing customer service and raising technical inspection standards in collaboration with key partners. Equipped with a modern and fully integrated reception hall, the center aims to provide a seamless and comfortable experience for visitors.

Oscar Rivoli highlighted that the center is a state-of-the-art facility designed to deliver high-quality vehicle inspection services, directly contributing to road safety. The customer experience was a top priority during development, ensuring fast and efficient transactions through advanced smart devices. This has positioned the center as one of the most advanced vehicle inspection facilities in the UAE and the broader Middle East.

Maher Khader, the technical and administrative advisor for the project, described the center as a fully integrated smart facility equipped with cutting-edge technology and certified inspection equipment. He credited the collaborative efforts of Ras Al Khaimah Police, the General Resources Authority, and Al Ghurair Automobiles for overcoming challenges and successfully launching the project.

The inauguration event began with the UAE national anthem, followed by a video presentation on the center’s development. Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi and Jamal Ahmed Al Tair then unveiled the official plaque and cut the ribbon. Guests toured the inspection lanes and observed the facility’s operational process before exchanging commemorative shields.

The Al Ghurair Vehicle Inspection Center features:

• Four inspection lanes for light vehicles, ensuring efficient service.
• Operating hours:
• Monday to Saturday: 7 AM – 6 PM
• Friday: Morning shift (7 AM – 12 PM), Evening shift (3 PM – 6 PM)
• Closed on Sundays
• Highly trained technicians conduct inspections, with results delivered via text message.
• Additional services: Vehicle insurance, license plate manufacturing, and VIP services.
