In alignment with World Inmate Day and in collaboration with the Emirates Association for Social Development, Ras Al Khaimah Penal Institution has introduced a more positive isolation program. This initiative aims to provide psychological and social support to inmates, encouraging positive thinking and preparing them to reintegrate into society as productive individuals. The program includes a variety of skills workshops, awareness lectures, psychological support sessions, and interactive activities. The inaugural event was a workshop titled "Healing through Art," presented by painter Hamama Al Shehhi. Fifteen inmates participated in the workshop, which aimed to help them express their feelings and thoughts through art. The inmates created artistic works that reflected their experiences and emotions, enhancing their self-confidence and fostering a positive outlook. This program underscores the commitment of Ras Al Khaimah Police and the Emirates Association for Social Development to support all segments of society, including those in penal and correctional institutions, by providing opportunities for personal growth and emotional healing.
