Acting Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police Reviews Field Efforts on First Day of School

As part of the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command’s commitment to ensuring a safe learning environment and regulating traffic to guarantee smooth and secure student commutes, His Excellency Brigadier Jamal Ahmed Al Tair, Acting Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, inspected police and traffic operations across several roads and streets in the emirate on the first day of the new academic year. Brigadier Al Tair stressed that Ras Al Khaimah Police bears the responsibility of providing a secure educational environment for students at all levels. In line with the “A Day Without Accidents” initiative, he affirmed that protecting students during their daily travel to and from schools is a top priority. He praised the dedication of field officers in overcoming challenges, resolving issues, and reducing traffic congestion during peak hours. He also commended the innovative use of drones, connected directly to the operations room, to identify bottlenecks near schools and direct patrols to ensure smooth traffic flow. His Excellency underscored the vital role of cooperation from parents, drivers, and all road users in supporting police efforts to achieve the highest standards of traffic safety and to create a learning environment. He highlighted that the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command is mobilizing all resources and capabilities to safeguard students’ journeys and ensure their safety and security. In a related initiative, Brigadier Al Tair, accompanied by a number of command officers, visited the Zayed Educational Complex in Al Dhait, where he met students at the start of the 2025–2026 academic year. The visit began with the Ras Al Khaimah Police Music Band playing the UAE national anthem, after which His Excellency extended congratulations to the teaching and administrative staff of the Zayed Educational Complex, as well as to students, on the first day of school. Brigadier Al Tair reaffirmed that student safety remains a top priority for the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, which continues to harness all its human and material resources to ensure secure commutes and safe educational journeys.
