Ras Al Khaimah Police Celebrates Emirati Women's Day


Ras Al Khaimah Police, represented by its Women's Police Team and Youth Team, celebrated Emirati Women's Day, which is observed annually on August 28. His Excellency Brigadier Jamal Ahmed Al Tair, Acting Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, highlighted the distinguished status Emirati women have attained through their dedication to work and their support of Emirati men under the guidance of the wise leadership. He explained that the celebration of Emirati Women's Day reflects honor, appreciation, and recognition of their active role in society, as mothers and homemakers, and as working women who have achieved notable successes across various fields and work sectors. On this occasion, he said: "I extend my warmest congratulations and gratitude to the daughters of the Emirates on this day, when we celebrate their great achievements in different fields and renew our confidence in them, particularly female members of the police and military, and in their ability to carry the banner and continue the journey of giving." Brigadier Mohammed Obaid Al Khatri, Director General of Resources and Support Services, attended the Ras Al Khaimah Police Youth Council Team's celebration titled "With Her, the Home Blossoms," on the occasion of Emirati Women's Day. The celebration was attended by the team’s head and members, along with a group of female personnel from the General Command of Police. The Women's Police Team also marked the occasion, under the leadership of Major Amal Al Obaid, Team Leader. The ceremony included an introductory video showcasing the events, activities, and programs organized and attended by the Ras Al Khaimah Women's Police Team. This was part of its commitment to strengthening community relations and partnerships with institutions across the emirate, in service of the public interest. Attendees were also provided with medical services, examinations, and free consultations, in addition to gifts offered by the event sponsors. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Major Amal Al Obaid honored the sponsors, expressing appreciation for their support of the event and their commitment to reinforcing the partnership with the Ras Al Khaimah Women's Police Team.
