The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police, in cooperation with the General Resources Authority in the Emirate, confirmed that work is currently underway to finalize the administrative regulations and detailed implementation framework for the new distinguished plates system, in preparation for its launch to the public through organized and clear procedures that ensure ease of access to the service and enhance operational efficiency.

Ras Al Khaimah Police stated that the launch of the new design for distinguished plates comes as part of a comprehensive development framework aimed at enhancing the quality of services provided to customers. It noted that specialized teams are working in coordination with the General Resources Authority to develop an integrated regulatory framework that defines application, sales, and delivery mechanisms, in line with the best approved government practices in the Emirate.

The General Command affirmed that the new system will be governed by clear controls and standards that ensure transparency and regulate the process of selecting numbers and letters in accordance with the approved requirements.

Ras Al Khaimah Police added that the approved sales centers and locations for distinguished plates will be announced soon to make them available to the public, along with publishing full details related to the application procedures through official channels. It also urged interested individuals to follow authorized media platforms to stay informed of updates upon official approval.

The General Command emphasized that this step represents a continuation of its sustained efforts to implement development initiatives that improve quality of life in the Emirate, while providing flexible and innovative services that meet societal aspirations and keep pace with Ras Al Khaimah’s sustainable development path
