Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, the Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, has lauded the collaboration of community members with the police force and local emergency response teams. He emphasized the significance of adhering to security advisories and directives issued by Ras Al Khaimah Police and the local emergency, crisis, and disaster management team. This cooperation enabled timely dissemination of updates regarding the recent weather depression and fluctuations, reaching citizens through text messages and official police channels on social media platforms.

The Commander-in-Chief reiterated the commitment of police officers to uphold the strategic goals of the Ministry of Interior, particularly ensuring preparedness and swift response to crises and disasters. He highlighted the successful implementation of pre-established plans for managing emergency and non-emergency situations, achieved through seamless coordination among various specialized teams and partners.

Zero serious accidents were reported during the recent weather fluctuations, attributed to the proactive measures taken by traffic patrols to maintain order and safety on roads, especially those prone to congestion due to heavy rainfall. Additionally, the readiness of security personnel in the operations room to address inquiries and emergencies 24/7 via the designated hotline numbers (999 for emergencies and 901 for non-emergencies) was emphasized.

Over the past 48 hours, 1,566 calls were promptly handled and provided with necessary assistance, aligning with the directives of the UAE government and the vision of the nation's leadership to prioritize security and safety.
