The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, has achieved a landmark international accomplishment by becoming the first police organization in the world to obtain certification to the ISO 54002:2025 standard for Quality Management Systems. The certification was awarded by LRQA, the internationally recognized assurance and certification body specializing in the auditing and certification of management systems in accordance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards.

His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, congratulated all personnel on this distinguished achievement, describing it as a significant milestone in the Command's journey toward institutional excellence and strategic policing. He emphasized that the certification reflects the General Command's commitment to achieving sustainable excellence in support of the Ministry of Interior's vision of enhancing institutional performance and improving the quality of security and public services delivered to the community.

Major General Al Nuaimi stated that obtaining ISO 54002:2025 confirms that the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command's quality management systems and operational processes comply with internationally recognized best practices and quality standards. He noted that this achievement represents another important step in the organization's continuous efforts to strengthen strategic policing through the implementation of advanced improvement and development initiatives across all general directorates and comprehensive police stations.

He added that the certification is the result of an integrated institutional approach focused on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and effective governance.
