In celebration of the United Arab Emirates' 53rd Union Day, the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command is set to organize a grand national parade on December 1st at 4 p.m. at Al Qawasim Corniche. The event will see participation from numerous citizens, residents, and representatives from government and local institutions across the emirate.
As part of the preparations, Ras Al Khaimah Police has intensified its presence at public places, facilities, celebration venues, and areas of high public turnout. The deployment of traffic patrols has been increased to ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent congestion on both internal and external roads. A comprehensive security plan has also been put in place to address any emergencies, particularly in high-density areas. All police teams and units are on high alert to enhance responsiveness during the celebrations.
The police urged the public to adhere to the Ministry of Interior’s security and traffic regulations, avoid reckless driving, ensure vehicle plate numbers remain visible, and maintain public discipline and order. Beachgoers and visitors to the emirate's seafronts were also reminded to follow maritime security and safety protocols to prevent accidents such as drowning. The central operations room remains operational 24/7 to receive public inquiries and reports through the non-emergency number 901 and the emergency number 999.
Additionally, Ras Al Khaimah Police advised parents to monitor their children closely, particularly younger ones, and ensure they are not left unattended to safeguard their safety.
The police emphasized that the 53rd Union Day is a cherished national occasion, offering an opportunity to reaffirm loyalty, patriotism, and positive citizenship. It serves as a time to remember and honor the vision, sacrifices, and achievements of the Union’s founders.
