Ras Al Khaimah Police Hosts State-Level Community Police Forum on Future Challenges and Visions

Under the esteemed patronage of Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, the leadership, represented by the Community Police Department within the General Directorate of Police Operations, orchestrated a significant Community Police Forum themed "Future Challenges and Visions." The event targeted directors and employees from community police departments and sections, along with key partners across the country, held at the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Hotel. The forum aimed to fortify partnerships and elevate security measures.

The gathering welcomed His Excellency Brigadier Ahmed Saeed Mansour, Deputy Director General of Police Operations, who extended a warm welcome to the attendees. He expressed gratitude for their commitment to activate community policing, emphasizing the value of sharing successful experiences and transferring expertise. Strengthening security as a collective responsibility, the discussions centered on collaborative efforts needed to ensure a prosperous and secure life by addressing crime and effective reporting. The forum highlighted the imperative to bolster partnerships between security services and pertinent government institutions to bolster the role of community police in maintaining security.

Colonel Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al-Bakr, Director of the Community Police Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, moderated the forum. A considerable number of officers, individuals, and representatives from government departments and agencies attended, reflecting the involvement of state-level partners.

The forum encompassed various segments, including a documentary showcasing the accomplishments of community policing and recognition of key partners. It also featured presentations on the experiences of Abu Dhabi Police, Dubai Police, and Sharjah Police in the realm of community policing.

Several focal points of common interest were deliberated upon, encompassing comprehensive security, economic, social, and technological axes, acknowledging the significance of technology and artificial intelligence.

The forum concluded with recommendations aiming at continuous cooperation with AI experts, advancing the digital transformation of administrative and field tasks in community policing, fostering constructive collaboration among various community institutions, and leveraging police security development initiatives in awareness and community domains. Additionally, the forum advocated for ongoing periodic gatherings, workshops, and discussions to foster knowledge exchange and share successful experiences.

The floor was open for discussion, allowing attendees to raise questions and inquiries to police leadership representatives. The forum garnered significant response and engagement, signifying its importance and relevance.
